It was a lot like the other 2 times I have taken it! lol, but I REEEEALLY took my time this time on the exam since I knew I always had time to spare the last couple times I took it.. so I hope that is enough to push me up to at least a 75. I seem to be in that 70-76 range on all my exams. I don't have any “real life” auditing experience, so this one has been a struggle for me. Good luck to everyone!!

on my last audit attempt I was averaging about 65-70 on beckers exams and recieved a 74

this time I'm averaging about an 80 . I'm nervous and really hope I pass .taking it in 2days

just want to start FAR already, so sick of studying for audit

I am currently studying for Audit for the second time, I got a 71 on my first try. I see some people are talking about the Wiley questions for $60, but I only see them for $97 in the store.

Is there a coupon code or something that I have to enter?

@BRNickel – It was a special that ran through the end of last week. 40% off in the Another71 store.

I bought the Wiley pin last week, and so far I highly recommend it. It's good to see questions worded differently, so that you're not just memorizing previous Becker questions. Wiley also touches on vocabulary and other areas that Becker does not, and has more flexibility to customize the questions. Even for $97 I'd still recommend it.

I've passed AUD, FAR and BEC! BEC took four attempts. Unfortunately my AUD credit (81) expired a couple weeks ago. I'm currently studying to re-pass it so I can focus on REG. The good thing is, it took me so long to pass FAR and BEC that my next credits won't expire until Sept 2012, but I've learned all too well that time flies when you're studying for the CPA exam…..

FAR - 79 (2x)
AUD - 81 (expired), 77!
REG - 74! omg (3x) 87!!!!!!! I'm done! OMG!

I took AUD yesterday !! The 1st testlet of MCQ felt ok , the second seemed easier but had like 6-7 difficult questions as well… the third one was back to average again … A lot of the questions were repeats from Becker BUT then came the SIMS … out of the 7 SIMS 2 were a !@#$%^ the rest were OK , but who knows !! with AUD .. when ppl ask me how my exam went – I say – I really DON’T KNOW !

taking 3-40 days break to get my house back in order and then shall hit the FAR books !!

Good luck with Audit and REG. I am taking the two this window also. My third time on Audit and my second on REG. I am adding Gleim testbank, Focus Notes, and a new Review book from Wiley, and using the cram from Yaeger. I hope that works. Are you doing anything different?

I hope that you killed Audit! When you said you had difficult questions in the 2nd testelet, were they out of left field or wordier? For me, I have a hard time telling when the testlet gets tougher.

Well, actually, I am working on REG first, but trying to stay in touch on the Audit thread since I will be at it soon. Audit is tough for me. This will be my third swipe (UGH). I am hoping Gary Bulmash (Yaeger cram) gets everything into my thick skull.

How was your exam? I am hoping that you are on your way to another pass.

@yankee it was hard 🙁 The 2nd and 3rd testlets were much harder than the first. People say that's a good sign but I'm scared they were harder because maybe I didn't know my materials that well 🙁 With REG I knew my testlets were getting harder but I “knew my $hit” in REG so even the hard testlets couldn't get past me! Think I will probably need to re-take AUD :/

Think positive! Keep your faith. You have a good momentum going, don't knock it. How did you know the testlets were getting harder? I have such a hard time discerning that on this exam. Did you use Becker again?

@PistolPete – I didn't do much for SIMS and only did a couple of question from the Wiley software …. Definitely BECKER MCQ's were helpful !! i saw a few straight out of Becker !!

@yankeeaccountant – In the second testlet some of the questions got wordier ( 5-6 ) and about 2-3 were from the left field ..but who knows they were harder because maybe I didn't know my materials that well enough ! when i passed BEC , as i was tackling one testlet after another – i felt i knew my shit . This time after AUD it wasnt the same feeling .

@Peanut- What material are you using for FAR ? i plan to start studying for FAR this weekend and was thinking of getting Yaeger material
