congrats to those who passed.

I stoodup all night anxious to know my scores. I finally check one more time in the afternoon only to find out that I had gotten a 74. wtf!!!!!!!!!!!! siadjasidasidadaghfhgfsfqwqewdadafaf

I'm obv sad atm, I really felt like I was prepared before going inside the testroom, but the mcq's did give me trouble and I walked out feelin a lil shocked. not sure what my strategy should be now. I'am most likely going to take it again in 2 weeks than focus on FAR.

fwiw, i used rogers and wiley' so far. I also have becker , so maybe I should just use becker totally this time. thx

sorry about the news! I am in the same boat. I used Becker and Wiley test bank and felt fully prepared. I am thinking about using the Roger cram to tie things up, plus I heard he has alot of energy. Audit for me is kinda dry, so I need a little energy to get me thru it. Somebody posted info on https://www.philadelphiacpareview.com/, he said this was awesome. You can look for the thread he started I think it was ” how I went from a 71 to a 94″.

as for the philadelphia review course , seems a little expensive and the guy posting the thread maybe just be some undercover marketer.]. I may just go with becker as my buddy has it already.

also fwiw, rogers is really good and has plenty of energy. that may be good for you since I can only imagine how bored you are already studying same material and lectures over and over. his cram course should be enough I think.

anyways, hopefully we can celebrate next testing window and get this thing out of the way already, gl

@bkkguru looks like we r in the sane boat. REG and BEC complete but blah AUD. I really think AICPA got my scores confused lol. I passed BEC but failed my AUD. I felt much better with AUD than BEC, I guess I should be happy with a pass (which I am extremely glad I didn't have to retake it again).

So reading your post, I have an opportunity to watch Roger for free (full course). I've used Yeager and I felt like I was prepared but obviously not.

Do you feel Roger would be worth my time?

I really cant see it hurting your chances. matter of fact, I would recommend roger. his lectures are very entertaining and keep you awake. if you are freerolling his class than I highly recommend taking him.

for me , I've watched his lectures 3-4 times already so I'm probably not gonna study with him in audit this time as I cant watch the same stuff again and again. I will give becker a shot this time and see what happens. it seems like I'm contradicting myself recommending rogers and choosing not to study with him . but I was able to pass reg and bec in one testing window while also taking aud the 1st time with rogers so he is really good imo. I think iam just not cutout for auditing.

not sure wtf it is , but something about auditing that I cant figure out, even in college I barely got by auditing and hated it so I guess iam just naturally bad at the subject.

3rd time's the charm though .

so got my score report for aud. I did stronger on MCQ weaker on Sims. And was stronger in 4 of 6 areas equal on one but weaker on evidence. so looks like that is area i need to hit more in depth.

How did you get your score report? I received my score Saturday morning, but no score report as of date.

Hello all,

Well back in Audit again. Feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day! This will be my third swipe. I was first going to go with Roger, but have decided to go with Gary Bulmash and Yaeger. I have used Becker and Wiley and lots of mnemonics, so maybe i just need to understand the concepts better. UGH. I thought I did. (Guess I am still in denial)

The silver lining is that at least this time we get scores a bit faster…hooray!!!

@yankeeaccountant, I would like to mention couple things about AUD. It's important to know the concept, and it's also important NOT to mis-interpret the concept. couple times while I was studying I got an wrong concept and still thinking I had it. So, I would advise to read the book carefully and not to misunderstand what the text book trying to say. Another thing to pay attention is that we stuffed our brain with so many concepts/rules in such a short time. A few days before the exam, it's better to organize/sort the knowledge in our brain and try not to get confused. just my two cents.
