So in the past 2 weeks I have done 846 MCQs, reviewed full set of flash cards, rered kaolin AUD book including cram essentials, listened to mp3s every morning at the gym. I feel burnt. So taking weekend off enjoying family reunion. Monday start the Wiley mcq grind. Figure that marked flashcards, and NINJA notes. Monday after do Wiley sims to overview weak points. Refresh Tuesday. And finally slay the last head of this dragon. Even with this I still am really nervous having zero audit experience. Just hope I don't over study. Hope everyone enjoys the weekend, and good hunting.

I have done about 600 mcq's in Wiley and now going thru Becker. Finished all questions (includ. supplemental and sims) on A1 and A2. I did some progress test of A1, 2, and 3, together and separately and feel pretty good about them. I think I may go over the different reports a bit, do some sims on A3 and then move on to A4 on Monday. So, hopefully I can finish A3 tonight.

I am on a decent schedule for my review. Exam is Aug 30th. So this week will be key. My hubby will be out of town all week–which for me, I will use to my advantage! I am going all out this week. Mcq's, rinse, Mcq's…you get the picture.

    Happy studying!!

Yes, I found Gleim MCQ quite similar to exam Qs. For mcq, I found gleim very adequate.

Hav2pass: thank you…. that means i have to work on them too. I actually started my review and doing gleim and wiley MCQ's at the same time. I wasnt sure how much gleim questions will be usefull to me (some of them are from wiley in gleim). One more thing I am sorry if I hurt you by asking your name. dont take in wrong way please.

One more doubt (since your always helping in my doubts), when you review or AUP or compilation in govt what standards do we have to follow is AICPA or GAGAS or both. I know for sure its not SSARS. i am confused actually.

It's not a problem. Don't think abt it.

For govt. audit, I am also not very sure. The Gleim books says Government Auditing Standards apply to audits and attestation engagements. So for review and agreed upon proc. this will apply. I do not know if GAAS applies too or not.

For compliance audits for governmental, GAAS, Govt. auditing standards and governmental audit reqirements (GAR) all apply.

    Hope this helps!

I took AUD on Friday….I had a few multiple choice questions that were word for word from Becker. One specifically I remember being in the supplementary problems so be sure to not ignore those. I thought the TBS were off the wall. Except for one, which was simple as could be! And I only had one research questions, which was easy. One definitely could have been in a Financial exam, like many people have said.

Can't wait to see my score! I started studying for Regulation today

    AUD 97
    FAR 82
    REG Oct 1
    BEC

I had my AUD exam on the middle of July, I don't think the multiple choices were that hard, you just have to read them correctly, but then again I still don't have my score, maybe I failed. The TBS questions were awfull, had 2 research questions and two of them I feel could be tested better on FAR. I can't wait, I am never again doing these exams in the first month of the testing window, this wait is killing me. I already started studying for FAR (hopefully my last one) and between this, my tax season and my two kids I feel I am going crazy. Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    REG (2/17/11) – 85

    BEC (5/27/11) – 83

    AUD (7/15/11) – waiting

FAR (11/23/11) – maybe sooner, depending on how stressed I am, lol

    To CPA 88

I am not sure about the MCQs. For the other 2 exams I always felt I had failed them, and I think my grades are not that bad. All the questions seem hard for me, I always feel so exhausted after the exam, however, with AUD I felt more confident and finished like 40 minutes before, which now reading all these comments really worries me. All I can do is wait.
