great job!! I hate to be a bearer of bad news, but for me A4 and A5 are tough. I am spending the most time reviewing those items. but don't lose hope, Audit is a new language for lots of people. I have never worked in audit, so I have zilch experience. I took a class in December which wasn't great. I was in a crunch for acctg hours so I opted for an online class, and found out I pretty much got nothing out of it.

but we need to persevere and get through this. when do you test? keep doing mcq's, repetition is key with audit, it will eventually all click!!

For those of you who have taken the exam and used Becker to study, how similar are Becker's AUD final exams to the actual exam? Do you feel like Becker prepared you well?

I just took my first practice exam and made an 86, 96, and 93 on the first 3 testlets (the multiple choice). That makes me feel good but now I'm wondering if Becker's exams are a lot easier than the real thing?

Anyone have any suggestions on how to prepare for the journal entries wrt to AUD , any particular ones I should look up ?

@ yankee — my exam is the same day as yours! Good to know others feel the same way — I literally have a post-it on my desktop with terms used (not even necessarily accounting terms, but words like “purport” and “preclude” that make me feel like an idiot for feeling uncomfortable with them). Next week is my review, and I'll be right there with you in terms of MCQs, repetition, and wanting to throw the textbook out the window 😉 Good luck!

I have a questions to all you guys there…. i got 74 in audit in my last attempt. I still cant believe i failed because when i saw my test score it shows i am stronger in all fields except one in which i was weaker (16-20%) Is it possible to fail when u are stronger in all fields except one like i said. I dont understand because you will be in comparable zone when you are 75-80 %in that field and I was in stronger field all the way. I thought to request a recheck but i read that there is no history any one got change in their score and it costs $500 bucks + for each question… I am going to sit again 30th augest but just dont understand where I am going wrong.This is my last exam and last chance before start loosing my credits… please guys wish me good luck……

just retest, got a 71 and was stronger to comparable in all sections and weak on sims and still failed retook on the 1st.

was the sim totally different from what we see in wiley and becker…. i mean was it too tough

Wasn't that bad, but this time the MC I couldn't tell if they got harder I am hoping my sims are good and the MC holds true from last time Ive havent gotten weaker in MC.

did u get more than 1 research tab…. In my last test I got 2 and and the 2nd one was next to impossible to solve. MCQ's too were very tough but still dont see where I went wrong. What study material did you use

What did your score report say about sims? Did it say weaker or comparable?

i got weekerin sim and comparable in MCQ ….. I dont undertand how it is possible to be stronger in all and then see comparable and weeker
