Well, tomorrow is my big day for AUDIT. It's the first part I'm taking too. I take my exam in the morning and am feeling fairly well-prepared except for the uncertainties of what sims will come my way. Good luck to the others who take it tomorrow also!! I will follow up with my thoughts mañana.

Good Luck to you Susan. I'll feeling the same way. Afraid of the sims but otherwise feel as prepared I can be. My exam is in the afternoon. Tomorrow evening I'm planning on getting myself organized and ready for my next rematch – REG. Till tomorrow!!

What's done is done. Now the waiting begins. First testlest was really easy, second testlest was pretty hard, third testlet was med/hard. I definitely had to guess at some of the questions along the way but at least I was able to narrow those down to a 50/50 shot.

Sims were not nearly as difficult as I had imagined they would be based upon all the posts here. That said, they were still difficult and I'm not sure how well I did on them overall.

Moving on to BEC hoping I don't have to revisit AUD in the future.

    AUD: 07/11/11 - Passed
    BEC: 08/27/11 - Passed
    FAR: 01/17/12 - Passed
    REG: 04/30/12; Re-take 7/16/12 - Passed

    FINISHED!!!!!!!!

    Hi Susan,

Would you mind me asking how much time you had to spare?

I'm taking my test on Thursday and I've been doing a ton of Wiley practice exams. just about everytime it seems im finished with an hour or more to spare. I'm usually a very slow test taker too. I dont understand why they give you so much time for Audit. They should really give the extra hour or so to Regulation! 🙂

I also take Audit on Thursday. I have been using the wiley software, and am able to finish 90 MC in about 45 minutes. (although ive done them all at least 2x)

As long as you give yourself about 1.5-2 hours for the SIMS you should have plenty of time.

AUD usually isnt an exam where time becomes a factor.

Coals1: It took me 3 hrs 15 minutes total. I reviewed each testlet and each simulation and really took my time. I went into the sims with 2:15 minutes left so they took an hour.

    Good luck on Thursday!!

@mep: When I was practicing on Wiley I was working 90 question tests and was averaging 45-50 minutes without review. During the test today, I spent time reviewing each question and still had a good amount of time to spare.

Good luck to you too on Thursday!

I reviewed each question twice before I got to the SIMs and still had over 2 hours left. I actually just kind of hung out a little before I ended the session just to reach 3 hours total test time

I went thru every MCQ twice, took a bathroom break, and triple checked my SIMS and still finished with over an hour to spare.

I wasn't working, have no small children, and have a very supportive husband. I studied for FAR for about 7 or 8 hours a day with a day or two day off per week for about 6 weeks. I could have done it more quickly, but I tried several different things that didn't work for me. During this time I learned what did work and applied it to the other exams. For each of those, I studied 10-14 hours per day every day for 2 weeks. I am able to focus intensely for hours at a time on a project so I was able to handle this schedule.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85

jomarie–hey were you on Club 75 before? i thought I remembered you from there. My name was nboyd7975. Anyway, best of luck with Audit, sounds like you were methodical in your approach. I am taking Audit on Aug 30 for a second time. I took 3 last window and passed 2 but not Audit. Funny because of the three I felt best about Audit. I think I finished with an our left after reviewing the last two testlets carefully. Oh well. I think I missed some key words. I am set for REG on July 30 . Not sure how that will go. I am not feeling like it is solid yet.

I will use Wiley and Becker for Audit and probably cpareviewfor free. If you have any comments–please share!!

Best of luck to the rest of the audit group this window!!
