Do I need to worry about tickmarks sim? I have tried 1 in becker and its freaking me out .. Whats the approach for those kind of sims wheaher to memorize or apply logic? I simply can't get the concept behind tickmarks except(√)..

Can someone pls confirm about having no communication tab for the AUD section..I am using wiley and becker…becker looks fine but wiley has the communication tab in the sims section….OMG, i am freakin OUT !!!!!!

@Nam – Yes, I would worry about tickmarks, but just the logic behind why each of them are being used because as many of the auditors can attest to; everyone has different tickmarks they use. You may have found something in the authoritative lit… AUD 380?

@cpa2bsoon – No, there are no written communications tab for AUD.

Thanks a ton Jambi14 !!!! I don't understand why wiley would still include the written communication tab….I used wiley for FAR and they weren't bad…But, the sims for AUD are terrible. Anyways, thanks for the clarification.

Hello guys, i have schedule my AUD on 30th July,

i have just finished chap 1 n 2 from Becker review, and now i am doing chap 5,

i would like to know how much weight-age does it have in the exam…

I am finding the section One of chap 5 difficult to understand and also while solving MCQ's

Any suggestions how should i go about so that atleast i understand a bit…

@kushal.patel There's no getting around ch.5 in Becker. I believe the first section of ch.5 is Audit Sampling. Jeff provides some pretty good notes on this part in his NINJA notes. and lucky for you, I think he still has Audit Sampling Audio for free somewhere on the boards. Give it a listen, I feel like it's helped me

I just finished going through the recently released audit questions here.

The first 25 say that the AICPA has rated them as medium and the last 25 are rated hard.

How do they determine whether a question is considered “medium” or “hard”? I couldn't tell that much difference, I either knew it or didn't know it. I actually got more of the hard ones correct than I did the medium ones.

@glass2lose – you're not allowed to discuss the details of the test. When you take each section you have agree at the beginning not to discuss any of the details.

Taking the AUD exam on Monday, trying to study all day since I have it off for the 4th.

Freaking out a bit, really want to pass this, I have been studying forever. I feel like there is so much information to memorize and the questions are tricky. Also afraid that I'm gonna get in there and all the questions will be completely different than what I have studied or I won't be able to retain enough information. Doing lots of MCQ's, Sims, taking notes, Ninja Audio, but I have so much more I want to do before Monday. Getting 83%'s on MCQ's with all topics included.

At the same time, tried to study last night but couldn't even read a question. Ahhhhhh, any advice on how to best use the last few days before the exam????
