I am taking the audit exam in 3 1/2 weeks. I am studying while working full time. This will be the first CPA exam I have taken so far. What FAR information should I really know before taking AUD. I’ve been reading that a lot of people are getting FAR related sims for AUD. Thanks in advance!

I would brush up on revenue and expense recognition, and all major balance sheet items. I don't know what prep system you are using but do all the sims for audit procedures/evidence and they will give you a much better idea of the reporting concepts that you need to nail going in.

    AUD - 95
    BEC - 87
    FAR - 84
    REG - 90

AUD doesn’t really test the rules and regulations of applicable reporting frameworks (GAAP, IFRS, etc). So I wouldn’t say there is much overlap at all. I took FAR once and I just took AUD for the 5th time on Thursday.

I felt like it clicked for me this time. I would say the most important things to study are knowing the differences between all of the reports (and terminology for each) and understanding PCAOB vs AICPA standards for reporting and when they each apply.

    AUD - 70
    BEC - 75
    FAR - 75
    REG - 85

Also know all of the potential outcomes (qualified, unqualified, modified, unmodified, adverse, disclaimer, etc.)
