The exam instructions are fairly straight forward. Part of passing the exam is following directions. It is included the Content Outline for each exam.

Typically, you have to put “No Entry Required” only on the first line where there is no entry. If you had to make an entry to record the cash receipt of an A/R and were given 8 lines, you would put:

    Cash XX

    A/R XX

    No Entry Required

And leave the rest blank. I e-mailed the AICPA with this question a long time ago and was told that the order of the entry does not matter as long as the correct accounts and corresponding debits and credits are used. I'll see if I can dig up the e-mail.

I was told in one sim to add 0's specifically. If it doesn't say specifically in a problem I would leave it blank when they are asking for a word or phrase and put a 0 if they are asking for a number. If there is a “no entry required” choice that combined with a 0 would be my guess. That's my best advice anyway.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

Thanks guys! I wasn't sure. On the Becker practice exams, any blank line is counted wrong. I put zeroes in all of the blank dollar amounts, but I did not put “no entry required” if I didn't use all of the lines. I had enough trouble with the sims, I don't want to miss something on a technicality.

    FAR 82
    REG 76
    BEC 71, 78 (There is a light!!!)
    AUD 69, 83 (DONE!!!!)

Took AUD 2/28 (last day of to test for this score release) and have not received my score. Has anyone ever taken their test on the last day and not gotten their score?

Wow. Failed AUD for the second time. First time 73, just now….69! I thought I had done better this time around. I hate AUD with a passion now! How does one study for this one? I really thought I had it in the bag. UGH.

I am sorry @ndiehl17. I am waiting for my Aud score release, prior scores were 70, 72 and 72. I feel your pain. Part of the score, I believe, is the luck of the draw on what test you get.

    Just keep trying.
