    Hi Everyone,

For those that passed …congrats!! I am writing this post b/c I took AUD dec 10 2017- last day of window. I failed once before with a 74. I only had 3 weeks to study for the retake and found out this AM I GOT 84!!!

The reason I write is b/c a few days before my exam I got ill (flu maybe) and really did not study much at all. Maybe 1 hour a day for the 5 days leading up to exam . Dec 9 before exam I slept all day sick as a dog with fever

DEC 10 my exam was at 1PM. I tried to sell my seat the day before for 1500$ but no one bit. So I woke up at 10AM out of house by 11AM and got to prometric at 1230 with a 101.3 FEVER. Oddly, it did NOT slow me down one bit I was like Michael Jordan in that Finals game against the Utah Jazz . It was all adrenaline.

My point to all this is give your body rest it needs it. And don’t study the day before. I will do that for my last exam not study the day before and sleep all day.

We get it, dude. You felt like Michael Jordan in the finals. You've actually mentioned it three times already in this thread.

In all seriousness, congrats on passing. Looks like we both have FAR left.

The only comparison you should be making to Jordan is when he makes this quote ” I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. Twenty six times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed.”

All the times he failed seem to line up with the amount of times you taken a part of the CPA exam and failed.

Haha that was pretty good. Though, I can't really talk having taken 4 tries to pass BEC. That damn test was almost the death of me.

The good news is that once I pass FAR and receive my certificate, it will look just like everyone else's – even those that passed all 4 parts on the first attempt.

    3 passes
    4 fails

    All passes in MD
    All fails in VA

I will take FAR in MD—30 mins away

Its not how many times you fail ….its how many times you get up.

I may not be liked here…Kobe Bryant is hated, Labron James is hated….but guess what end of day they won NBA Championships and are superstars.

Ill be one as well once FAR is done.

shawn i suspect they will be contacting you shortly to commission the bronze statute that they will be installing outside of the prometric centers once you have passed FAR. Start thinking about the pose you would like to have immortalized. I personally think you doing a fade away jumpshot away from your keyboard/laptop would be a good one.

Selling your seat would absolutely be considered “unethical” behavior in the eyes of the CPA. I'm no snitch, but others are. I know you are stirring the pot and trolling for fun, but I'd be careful what you post.

Also, what grown adult takes their temperature when they don't feel well? I thought that was for kids trying to get out of going to school and dogs. Grow up

I know the feeling. During my BEC exam, I felt like Troy Bolton in High School Musical when he was able to nail his audition for the musical AND win his basketball championship in the same night.
