Anyone feel terrible about the AUD Sims and still pass? I feel like I did well on the multiple choice but bombed the SIMS (Except 2 I got 100% correct). Think I got the research one but I never know, for some reason I always get those wrong even though I think it is correct word for word.

Looking for some feedback on this wonderful forum.

I feel really confident about the MCQ's, but the majority of the SIMS I got were out of left field, stuff I hadn't studied/thought to study for, found nowhere in my review materials. Hopefully I did well on the others, but who knows. At least I got 2 research questions, even if one of them will probably be dropped..

Well, I guess the good news is we are all being graded against each other, so maybe we will score “comparable” on SIMs and all pass with an 80 😉

I took AUD about a month ago and I felt terrible about the SIMS. I guessed on like 4 SIMS and wasn't even sure about the research SIM. I felt like I did okay-ish on the MQC. I was on edge for about 2 weeks until I got my passing score of 77!

So yes, there is definitely a chance that you might have passed!

I wish I was one of you guys who felt awful about sims and passed Audit. Already taken it 3 times and just dont know how do I prepare for SIMS.

Well Sims are one area where you cannot be sure of yor performance. We all make some educated guesses in some of them. May be some people's educated guesses are more educated 😉

I wish you get a passing score just dont think about the exam and prepare for next one.

Even if we run our mind on guessing our score to give reasonable assurance, only Score day can give us absolute assurance 🙂

P.S :studying audit has made me a little more insane and these days i speak audit language 😀

Both times I took AUD, SIMS were just the same, really. When I really think about it, the toughest experience with SIMS was with FAR, but I still passed. What I strongly believe is that you only need to perform fairly well in the SIMS and then great in the MCQs (or comparable), so you can pass. If you got 1 or 2 right, and killed the MCQs, you've got a great chance of having a pleasant surprise Feb 3rd :).

And not that it matters, since I got two research SIMS, which I nailed, I know that I didn't do that great in one of the other SIMS, which was just completely ridiculous. I mean, stuff that an Auditor will NEVER use. It's almost like an anchor that was just there to make sure I didn't do as good as I can, no matter how hard I studied. The other SIMS were things anyone should know or can easily find in the AL. Good luck to all of ya'll.
