Could someone tell me how to tell the difficulty of MCQ testlets please? honestly, I totally have no idea it is getting harder or easer in AUD. In REG and FAR, I can tell based on complexity of calculation and some JEs. But in AUD, I really have no idea. Maybe I just fuqued up MCQ….

Like others have said, trying to analyze the “difficulty” of your testlets after the exam is mostly an exercise in futility and won't change your outcome one iota. BUT, it gives you something to pin your hopes on, so let's do it anyway! I don't know how scientific my method is, but I gauged the “hardness” of the testlets by the number of flagged MCQs I had. If I had 4 in Testlet 1 and 8 in Testlet 2, I would deem Testlet 2 to be hard.

Kim: I couldn't agree more. On top of all of that, it's a pure judgment call. I think the stress taken on by candidates who worry about their testlet progressions is taking years off their life. Not to mention it's just yet another way to let this exam into your head on exam day (aren't there enough already?). I suggest to put your exam day focus where it will do the most good: On the Exam! After the exam I could hardly remember any of the details on the MCQs….because I was just focused on the problem or question in front of me and then once it's gone it's on to the next. I honestly think that tunnel vision type of focus is critical to success on this stinking exam..

I don't use the flag option. Convinced it would make me too paranoid during the test.

I still have no idea what to expect come Thursday when the grades come out

My first testlet was pretty basic, but I did flag about 5 because I wasn't sure of them at first and wanted to save them for the end.

The second testlet I had more trouble with, but I couldn't tell if it was because the testlet was harder or if because I just didn't recognize how specific some of the material was. You know like some of Becker's final exam testlets.

The third one was ridiculously hard for me, which would seem to imply I did well on the second one, but I feel like I bombed this third one since I flagged like half the questions and still was very unsure about a lot of them considering how specific they were. Pretty much this was similar to Becker's second final exam's first testlet for me

Sims you never know so I won't even get into them.
