    Hey guys, so I just got out of my audit exam. I felt like the first testlet of MCQ was easy, and the second testlet was harder, but still doable. The sims were eh. I finished with 1.5 hours left and I’m kind of concerned about that. If anyone else took it in Q1, what was your experience like?

    I took it a month ago. I though the first MCQ testlet was hard and then the second was about the same, maybe a little easier. I felt that it really focused on only 2 of the 4 framework sections. I probably marked 10 questions in each testlet. This is coming from someone that did 3,000 MCQs to prepare. I thought the SIMs were pretty easy except for the ones in the final testlet which I definitely had to spend a decent amount of time on. There was also a SIM on the first testlet where I think I may have overthought it but hopefully that isn't the case. I left feeling like it's 50/50 if I passed or not. I'm taking BEC on the 9th so I will know going in whether or not BEC will potentially be my last exam.

    I felt like the MCQ was pretty easy because I studied for it so much. Maybe two or three that I was unsure about. The SIMSs seem fair, but there were a couple that were tricky.

    @Kriscpa2018 I had Becker, so I did two of the mock exams as practice, some of the SIMS in Becker, and the AICPA practice exam. Other than that, I mostly focused on MCQs!

    @Bubba I felt the exact same. I wasn't unsure on many MCQs, but the SIMS could've gone either way. Hopefully we'll get good news on March 8!

    @Pwhite8388 Good luck! How was your timing on the audit exam?

    @Ihopeipassed

    Thanks. I ended up passing. I spent about 40 minutes on each MCQ section and then had like 15-20 minutes for each SIM. I submitted with 5 minutes left but that is because I really took my time on the SIMs and double checked everything.

    My advice is, once you finish your MCQs, calculate how much time you have for each question. If you hit the time limit on the question, force yourself to wrap it up as soon as possible and move on to the next one.
