    I just saw my first Audit research sims…um, these are by far the hardest of the 3 exams. How are you supposed to know what they want you to find?

    Also, all the solutions are AU-C. Does this mean they don’t want us to use AU?

    I wish someone of you guys will stop disclosing stuff about the exam. You are going to put us all on in trouble with the AICPA!

    I don't see anything being “disclosed” about the exam. Only content is not supposed to be disclosed, not what resources are available to us in the exam. I supposed it's too much information if I were to tell you a calculator is available too, right?

    I second what Birds CPA said, on my exam and review material AU wasn't even an option, only AU-C, so don't worry about that! And yes, look for keywords like audit/review/comp. If you can't find the answer based on a search, it's very helpful to at least know which set of standards to look through manually.

    The AICPA makes the rules and they can bend the rules…just don't make them bend the rules. We are all in this together since we are members of this blog.
