I’m curious if anyone out there has taken the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Exam and their thoughts on it, especially compared to the CPA? I’ve passed the CMA and CPA, and am looking for other ways to expand my knowledge base. CFP seems fun as I’ve always been interested in that type of planning and it’s applicable to our day-to-day lives. So, it’s less a career move and more an education want.

From what I can see online, it looks like it’s much easier than the CPA.

How was the CMA? Harder than the CPA?

    AUD - 64, 80 Passed on 10/09/17

    BEC - 75 Passed on 12/09/17

    FAR - 69, 71, 73, 83 Passed on 06/10/18

    REG - 81 Passed on 09/10/17

I thought the CMA was significantly easier than the CPA. 2 less tests, not near the amount of studying, and the exam itself wasn't close to as difficult.
