Online Schools–SNHU–yes or no?

Okay, first off I am currently in my junior year of my B.S. in Accounting at SNHU attending online. Personally, I have had a great experience so far. I originally had planned to do the fast track to M.S. program because once I am done with my B.S. in Accounting, it’s only about 10 more classes until I can get my M.S. I do plan on getting my CPA also. Recently I have started getting scared that employers will look down on my degrees from SNHU and I won’t be able to find a job. I have scoured the internet but I get mixed reviews on whether or not SNHU is looked down on and how successful graduates have been at getting jobs. Should I stay with SNHU or look at transferring to another brick and mortar institution that offers online degrees? Online is important because I am a stay at home mom with 2 small children at home and my husband is in the Army and is gone at least 50% of the time with deployments and training and it’s just not possible for me to attend physical classes at this time. Also, how important is it that your degree be from an AACSB accredited school? My state does not require that my credits be from an AACSB school, just FYI. Any advice would be appreciated!

Both my masters and bachelors are from SNHU. The online part of it is a non-issue as far as I am concerned because your degree is the same as any other from SNHU.

There may be some firms that prefer to see a school like Bentley but I've never had any negative feedback because of my education. I'm not in public accounting, though nor will I ever be.

Your best bet is to get on linkedin and connect with some SNHU alum and see where their education has taken them. If you want to work in public see if there are alum at any firms.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.
