Anyone know how often the CMA exam changes? Like with the CPA exam, you’re best to use current-year materials, because they’re always changing something! For the CMA, I don’t know if it’s the same way or not. I’m tempted to order some materials and start looking over them to keep material fresh (instead of forgetting everything from college and CPA), but I expect it will be at 2015 before I start taking the exams, so I don’t want to have to re-buy materials in a year if I buy them now!

Lilla…From my understanding they don't change very much at all. I think they tweak the topics emphasis from time to time, but the material itself is pretty stagnant. I don't think they often have many updates in the worlds of Cost Accounting, Variance Analysis, Corp Fin, etc. I would say you would be pretty safe with material 1-2 years old…
