    Hi all,

So, I got the IMA books and wiley online test bank, but I have no idea how to study this. in Becker CPA, there was highlighting of important stuff to focus on, but here no such thing.

    How should I approach this?

    Appreciate the comments and help

Wish I could help more but I had Gleim which to me appears much more focused. With lack of direction I say just start at the beginning. Use the MCQs to determine where your strengths and weaknesses are….and focus first on the topics that are your weaknesses and heavily tested. Seek to read and really understand those topics. Then the next weakest…and the next and so on. Throw in some regular MCQs on your strengths so they dont get weak and you should be all set….

    MBA,CMA,CPA, CFF?, ABV?

I just started studying but am using Hock. I have watched all the videos and am now starting by reading the chapter and making myself a set of ninja style notes, working problems in the book, and working the mcqs for that section on the test bank.

Here is a link to the official cma thread here on Another 71, you can get more info on there also.

I'm also using Hock… I really like the study materials so far. I started with the Assumed Knowledge text to brush up on economics, but after hearing it's not really focused on anymore, I'm going to dive into the videos and text.

@blue24, are you working on part 1?

@bnrhilton Yes, Part 1. What did you think about the videos? Were they worth the watch? I think they're the only thing I haven't checked out yet as I received my study materials just recently.

@blue, I think they are, but they are long, if you can download the vlc player on your computer then you can play it at 1.4 speed and it won't take as long to watch because there is a lot. He does go through a lot of examples. I think it compares to about how Yaeger videos are, very explanatory. I decided to go ninja style and watch them all in the beginning to get them out of the way so I have spent the last few weeks just watching videos when I had some down time. Started reading and working questions yesterday.
