Has anyone gone through the application process for a job with the IRS (or other government agency such as the FDIC, etc.) and have any tips to share with me? I am currently living and working in Iowa, but am planning a move back to Minnesota later this year. I need to start my job search soon and I am very interested in a job with the IRS or another government agency.

I am also open to other job opportunities around the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) if you know of any. Thanks for your help!
