Hello All,
I graduated 6 years ago with BS Accounting degree. It has been 2.5 years since I am working in a small company with 5 employees. Accounting department has me, another employee and outsource CPA who helps us. I handle AP, AR(back up), month end adj entries, production and purchase planning. We have a great work environment. Owners are really nice. I started with low salary but they gave me good raises with time. Now I got an offer of Tax Auditor position with Department of Revenue, and I need some advise of whether I should make a move? I had rough experiences in my previous accounting positions due to which I am scared to make a move anywhere, but at the same time I do not want to miss out on a better opportunity. Salary is not a priority for me. I want to have a career and stable & less stressful job. Please share your thoughts/suggestions.
