Hi all, I’m switching from Big 4 Audit to another Big 4 but within their Consulting/Advisory practice. I accepted my offer but I haven’t turned in my two weeks yet. I have heard that when you tell HR that you’re leaving for another B4, they escort you out right away – but does this mean that they reject your 2 weeks notice and don’t pay you for the 2 weeks? Or do they ask you to turn in my laptop, leave the office, but still stay on the payroll for the 2 weeks? Just trying to prepare myself mentally and financially for what might happen. Thank you!
