Internship with bad undergrad transcripts, but good grad school transcripts

Hi all, I’m new here and I was hoping to get input from some of you.

Due to unforeseen family circumstances, my gpa in undergrad tanked from 3.5 at the beginning of my junior year to 2.9 at graduation. Luckily, I had secured an internship at a small firm before everything went downhill. I interned with them for 2 busy seasons and then I worked full time with them for a year.

Now I moved back to my hometown so I don’t work for that firm anymore. I am in grad school and things are going pretty well so far. I am more than half way through the master’s in accounting program and my gpa is 3.7.

My question is, given my awful undergrad transcripts, would I be able to secure an interview for an internship or a entry level position with big 4 or a midsize firm. Of course firms look at more than just gpa on the resume, but for this post I want to focus on just my gpa. Will my work experience and pretty decent grad school gpa be enough to overcome my awful undergrad transcripts? Will they ask for my undergrad transcripts even though I’m in grad school? Thanks I’m advance.

You should have no problem assuming you meet all the other requirements (good interviewing skills, good conversational skills, etc).

    BEC - 84
    FAR - 79
    REG - 85
