I have a phone interview with Deloitte. I would like to know, how much should I ask for? I know, it is just a phone interview, but want to get ready for that question if asked. Little background, I am CPA, (whohoo!!!) with Master Degree. I have 4 yrs in total experience from two jobs. My job title would be Senior Consultant (internal FP&A) not client facing. I am currently a Senior Consultant in 23K employee firm size of $BB in revenue. My goal is to seek higher salary, since it is a similar role.

Thanks in advance. If this is not a correct forum, please let me know which other websites I should try. I have tried glassdoor and salary.com. they are not good. since my current role salary doesn’t align what they show

I would study up on what market is for the position in your area. I think Robert half’s salary guide is a decent resource, although I think it gives way too broad of range. For a senior auditor in my area it has like a $30k between highest and lowest.

They may ask you what you expect and you need to say well I looked at xyz and I determined that people in this type of role are making X amount.
