I am taking FAR on December 2nd. I wanted to do it in November but the testing center has zero appointments left that month. Assuming I pass, I would do BEC next. I am using Roger right now. I’ve heard his BEC materials are the weakest of the 4 modules (although some parts of his FAR aren’t great either). The BEC book is quite thin though, so I’m thinking I can probably prepare for it and take the test within 3 months. I know some people study for this part for only a few weeks and pass. I’m curious to know how long the average person takes to study for BEC. I want to get it, and FAR, out of the way before the new format changes. If I flunk FAR, I have one more shot at it. Not planning to fail but with the test getting generally harder with every passing day…. I was looking at the stats and BEC has a pass rate of about 56%, an average of 10-12% higher than the other sections.
