I went to my state board accountancy website and asked them a question. I received an auto-reply email and my picture that was on this website as my avatar was beside my name in the state auto-reply email. WTF? 😳

If anyone can give me a logical explanation for this, that would be great. I’m trippin just a little. lol

One reason that multiple email addresses can be useful. 😀 I have an email address I use for job-related correspondence, which is more professional (and is on my LinkedIn, which is linked to from here), and another that I use for forums, Amazon, etc. That way, my image here doesn't get associated directly with the email address I use to email potential employers. It's all able to be linked together, and I know nothing's anonymous, but at least my avatar doesn't get associated in their system. 🙂

The picture was only my avatar on this forum. It was included in the body of the email. I haven’t used that picture on anything else, and actually changed it today. lol It is because it was created with Gravatar and the same email address, but still a little disconcerting.
