You cannot trust the expiration date listed on NASBA's CPA Central. The below link is a thread where according to the NASBA site, the canidate was within his 18 month window. However, his board of accountancy followed a different window. He was misled by NASBA's website. The board was going to deny his license and he had to fight and jump through hoops to get it.

Yes. I already go home after the test feeling like I got beat over the head with a metal baseball bat, therefore I could feel happier knowing I passed or only go through one burst of depression instead of 2 if I failed.

Probably not the same day but I would like it within 48 hours.

You feel depleted going home after a test because you put in so many hours. If you passed it would be great but if you failed it would be devastating to know the same day. It would be like getting kicked when you are down. I think a 1-2 day cooling period allows you to just disconnect from that testing stage and relax slightly. Once you have maybe one good night of sleep your mind works better and you are better prepared to deal with bad news if that should be the case.

The way it works now is bad because if you did not pass you slack off way too long and it becomes harder to relearn the material. If you just had 2 days as a break and needed to study for a section again you would not lose as much.
