Would my study plan be doable?

    Hello,

I have been reading other people’s study plan but just wanted to make sure what I am trying to do is doable.

I am currently working full time and have two little ones. Also, I am in MSA program ending the end of September.

Originally I posted about my situation and asked if I should quit my current job before I start working for the accounting firm in Sep. The one thing has changed. The firm decided to implement “Path to Licensure Program” and pushed my start date to Jan 2017. Also, they are working with several CPA review course vendors to provide new hires study materials for free.

After hearing this update, I have decided to quit my job in early July and send kids to daycare full-time while I am studying. However, I will be still in the MSA program, so wasn’t sure if I can try to study two sessions in the 3rd quarter.

I am thinking of taking FAR only at the end of Aug and then taking the rest of them in the 4th quarter window. Do you think I can try to pass all three sessions in 1 window if I study full time? Any thoughts or advice?

Anyone who has kids has done something like this? What would you do if you have this kind of chance to study like me?

How many classes for your MSA will you be enrolled in from July-September? If three or less I'd try for an exam in the middle of August and at the end of September. If it helps I passed one per testing window while working full time, taking two MSA classes and am a mom of 2.

Hi mla11692, I don't think there's a window open in September, so I was thinking of taking Far at the end of Aug. I will be taking two classes with the MSA program. I can't believe you did pass the exam while you are working full time and studying in the program. that's awesome!

Sorry I was thinking October was the blackout month for some reason, you're right no testing in September!

Can you take a test now?

I have two little kids. It will never be easier one day versus another. You just have to do it.

@silvermoonbeams, I wish I could, but I don't think I can do more than what I'm doing right now, working full time and taking two classes for the MSA program. 🙁 I don't think I can quit my job right now either as my current project will end at the end of June. sigh.
