All,

I live and work in NYC. My boss is a licensed CPA in NY but has let his registration lapse. He plans on renewing his registration so that he can sign off on my work experience. My question: does anyone know if I need to work under a registered, active CPA for a year or can I work under a (lapsed registration) CPA for a year and then he renew his license and sign off?
