Long story short: I worked in the tax department for a BIG10 company preparing returns for about a year. The hours were long and tough and I couldn’t study for my CPA so I decided to quit to study full time for the CPA in hopes of knocking those exams out asap. If god willing I pass, does anyone have any advice on moving forward? Would I need more public experience, or do I have a chance of going into the private sector, which was my overall goal to begin with. Or possibly, any other interesting routes available to CPA’s?
Just curious for some insight.
