Which State to go for and fitting the requirements

    Hello guys,

I am a foreigner hoping to go for the CPA after I get my bachellor degree on accounting, in two years.
I am facing some hurdles that make it hard to figure out how to go on with it.
To begin with, which State to go for: I am doing this merely for the purposes of gaining a CPA degree, to prove my understanding of GAAP norms and knowledge of US Accounting (might as well learn about that while I study for the CPA). I have no particular interest in any State, just which one would be the easier for me to deal with the requirements.
Then, the requirements are a concern for me:
The educational requirements have been standarized among all states, from my understanding, so now I will need 150 hours. With a 4 year bachellor degree, I should get 120. But… that is if they AICPA even accepts my degree. I mean, I am an argentinan. Most people can’t even point this country on a map. I dunno if my degree is gonna be accepted, and where can I consult this. Then, the other issue is the remaining 30 hours, and how to gather them as quickly as possible: getting an MBA is an option, but that is another 2 whole years. Can’t I do some courses in my country to accumulate those hours? Who I can ask if those minor titles would be accepted?. In fact, I have heard those 30 remaining hours can be accumulated with fairly any kind of education: I even heard of a guy who, after getting a bachellor degree, got his remaining 30 hours with courses on DIY and golf. Is this true? cause I have a degree on cuisine as well, a 3 year degree, which if possible I would use to fit the 30 remaining hours.
Then there is the working requirements: I am currently working as an Auditor on the PwC. By the time I graduate, I should have worked here for 4 years. You may say “An auditor on PwC for 4 years? that sure as hell should fit the bill for any state!”. Well, I dunno. Cause this working expierence MUST BE under the supervision of a CPA. My supervisor’s ain’s CPA’s. My manager ain’t a CPA. No one in my whole office except of the General Manager himself is a CPA. SO I am unsure if this working expierence is worth anything at all for the AICPA, even if it’s in such an important firm as the PwC.
Lastly, I have heard I can go and do the test much sooner than I fit the requirements, if I feel like it. If so, since I still need to wait 2 whole years to graduate, I may try to give it a shot in a year or so (thankfully there is a prometric office in brazil, which means the trip there should be much cheaper than for me to go all the way to the USA), and then fullfill the still remaining requirements during the year I still have to graduate before activating my licence. Is this how it works?.

I apologize for the WORD WALL, and thank you for reading through it.

You should start here: https://www.alllibrary.com/index you can use this to search all jurisdictions regarding specific criteria. You will need a foreign evaluation to just see where you stand with your foreign credits being converted to U.S. Credits.
