Jlee331ParticipantREG> FAR> AUD> BEC
To me, REG is a beast, I even lost credits for that section. Honestly, they are ALL difficult.

sancasukiParticipantI haven't gotten my AUD score yet and I'm taking BEC on Friday. But based on my experience studying for these exams: FAR> REG> BEC> AUD
Doing all these horridly long, complicated BEC calculations after studying AUD is a real shock to the system. Even REG didn't have such long calculations. Or maybe just Ninja overdoes it. It feels like a shortened version of FAR. I really should have taken BEC before AUD. My goal was to take the hardest exams first and leave the easiest for last. BEC feels like a really annoying algebra class with only elaborate word problems as homework.

EDM1204ParticipantI'm with @Texas33 on this one. I passed FAR and BEC on my first try. I've failed AUD 5 or 6 times. I seriously cannot get a passing score. With scores ranging from 69-74 on all attempts. I just took REG for the third time and thought I was going to pass it until I got to the SIMS. With losing credit on FAR on 1/31/17 time is running out.

TBoneParticipantI passed FAR, REG, and BEC each on the second try with the first try coming within a few points of passing…
AUD has pretty much ruined my life. I took it 5 times with scores of 70, 72, 73, 74, 74. I am waiting on the results of try number 6. If I pass I'm done but if I fail I lose credit for FAR.
AUD is a creature from hell that must be destroyed.

ShutUpParticipantSo far I have taken 3 exams… and I would say BEC>FAR>AUD. I have no idea how I did on BEC. FAR I wayyy over studied and did well, but audit I studied a moderate amount and scored similarly.

AnonymousInactiveREG is the most abstract. There's no logic to it. “What's the phaseout for deductible macaronis? $25,000 cause that's what Congress felt like that day.” So, because of that, to me, it's the hardest.
FAR next, I guess, cause it's so big.
AUD and BEC tied for last. BEC's material was very familiar to me, cause I had a strong business and econ background (more business classes than accounting IIRC…), and cost accounting was my favorite to study. But, AUD was logical in an abstract way. Yes, I said REG was bad cause it was abstract, but it's illogically abstract, so that's different. 😛 AUD has tricky questions, but AUD is like logical puzzles with logic-based answers, so I don't mind it as much.

hasyParticipantEven if I haven't taken AUD yet, I think that exam could not possibly as hard as REG was to me. I honestly DREAD REG and I hate it that I left it for last. But yes, FAR was MUCH easier to study for than REG.

ipadminihalfParticipantBased on my scores, far it is (lowest>highest):
REG>BEC>AUD
I am waiting for my FAR score to be released. During the exams, I felt terrible for REG and BEC, and AUD felt a little easier during the exam. After taking 4 exams this year, when someones asks how I thought I did, I just tell them I don't know, given the range of feelings I have felt after these exams.
REG - 2/19/16 - 77!
BEC - 4/16/16 - 79!!
AUD - 6/04/16 - 84!!!
FAR - 8/31/16September 7, 2016 at 4:20 pm #830380
So FAR So GoodParticipantI've only taken two and I'm studying for my third, but already I can tell where REG will place for me…
Big gap between REG and AUD, then a big but slightly smaller gap between AUD and FAR.
FAR material I was really comfortable with, AUD material was very tricky for me because of wording in a fully conceptual topic, and REG is just a beast for me. I can't wrap my head around a lot of this stuff, and I'm dragged down on the stuff I do understand by all the complicated thresholds and exceptions. I haven't even started the business law section yet, but I'm already dreading it.

BnotsParticipantFAR was by far the hardest for me, and the only one I expect I'll have failed, but I'll reluctantly accept responsibility. My preparation was weak in a couple areas that the exam really hammered me on in the second and third testlets and the sims.
I found AUD to be clearly the easiest. I flagged by far the fewest MCQs on AUD, and while I bombed two sims, the other ones were comparable to the easy ones I got on REG and FAR. I thought my BEC MCQs were harder than REG, but the memo topics I got were quite simple and easy to write about.
Overall, I suspect my scores will reflect how difficult I found them:
(hardest) FAR > BEC = REG > AUD (easiest)

choffnerParticipantAUD was the hardest because there'd be multiple good sounding answers with the slightest of differences.
REG was the easiest. BLaw just expands upon basic knowledge you've accumulated by interacting with the business side of society, and the tax portion is just a matter of memorizing thresholds and rules.
BEC 75
REG 81
FAR 69, 75
AUD 71, 74, 84 -
