Sup my ninjas. I take REG on 4/16, which basically leaves me 5 more days to study. I watched all becker lectures and completed all the homework for it. Since then i’ve been doing non stop MCQ sets of 30 for the tax sections and getting anywhere from 50s to 70s. (Have completed about 1250 MCQ’s). Really starting to think about possibly moving my test back a bit. Any tips on how to review/practice from here on out?

I’ve been doing sets of new tax questions as well as trouble questions. B-law ive got a good understanding of. If the average trending score needs to be around 80, im not feeling to confident. Anyways, any advice is helpful!

    FAR - 75
    REG - 69, September 16
    BEC - 80
    AUD - 69, October 16

I'm also taking Reg soon, but I targeted taxes and ethics heavily (both 80% of the exam). I have an average of 86% on 80% of the exam, but I just started covering Business Law. You should try to increase your average to at least 80%.

I also got 54% on Reg for my first try, I only had time to cover the first 3 becker chapters in 3 weeks.

Best of luck to both of us. Seems like you are in a good spot if you're averaging mid 80s. For individual, entities, tax process/procedure/accounting, im averaging a 70%. Just wondering if it's even feasible to raise it enough to feel comfortable by next saturday. Ill have some time through the week but it wont be more than a few hours each day. Decisions, decisions….

Good Luck to you guys! Reg doesn't seem to bad I am taking that next after FAR. Itsanaccrualworld, since you have experience in both. Would you say REG is easier or FAR?
I am seriously thinking about postponing FAR. I am having trouble with the SIMS and don't think I am even ready to face this monster in a week

@spartans I am of the belief that any content, whether it is FAR or REG shouldn't sway your thoughts on taking it first or not. I say that because it all comes down to the time you put in. I fortunately had more time to study for FAR than I do with REG because I've been studying for REG (the second time around) working full time during busy season. These are all just my opinions of course, but If you feel its necessary to postpone, and you can comfortably push it back a week or two, it could be worth the fee to reschedule.

The first time i took FAR i passed the MCQ but bombed the sims. Second time around i studied only sims over and over, and if you can get the sims down, you'll have the conceptual knowledge for the MCQs. I will say though, I had already done a hefty amount of MCQ progress tests studying for it the first time around. I used becker sims for FAR the second time i took it and that helped me finally pass.

itsanaccrualworld, now I know why you have to take Reg this month. I just saw you got a 74 on Bec, and need to retake it in May. Good luck!

I have reg in a week and while i feel comfortable with the general concepts I do not feel like i'm grasping the details. Definitely nervous about this one.

Angie, I had the same issue with FAR. I knew the material and was comfortable with the MC, but the details covered by the simulations got me. I think something similar could happen with REG, so I'm going to start doing simulations left and right.

I'm right there with you guys. My exam is scheduled for the 18th. 1600 MCQs done, so far and I'm trending 74%.

I'll probably get another 1000 in before the exam, and I feel like I'm on track for a passing score. I'll start binging on SIMs later this week as well. Definitely hoping for great news May 5th.

Is there a way to see why the ninja sim questions are right/wrong? And would you guys recommend using becker or ninja sims?

    @spikesrd….1600 MCQ….now I just feel like a slacker.

@martin….I was a lot more comfortable a week before FAR than I am a week before REG. Although I was prepared to have to retake FAR I passed. I don't know how I would handle having to retake REG. I'm ready to be done.

spikesrd, what were you trending when you got a 73 back on 11/30? Are you also using becker or just ninja?

Angie, I think Reg is similar to FAR, but with 3.5 chapters less worth of information, so you will do fine.

I've completed 949 MCQs with ninja and trending around 77. I really plan to buckle down and do nothing but work and study until my exam on Monday.
