Hi Friends,

I’m planning to take FAR on May 16th 2021. According to the testing window, results should be posted by California board on May 25th if test is taken on or before May 16th 2021 and also if the AICPA receives your exam data files from Prometric by 11:59 p.m May 16th.

So the question is When does AICPA receive exam data files from Prometric? Is it on the same day or next day. If its next day then result will be available on June 16th 2021 for test given on May 23rd? Seems a really long wait!!

Any info is appreciated!

Not really sure but I would assume it's sent the same day.
Perhaps the next day for a afternoon exam?

I would say since you've already schedule it on the 16th then just go ahead with it. Else you can reschedule it on the 15th instead.

I do not think you will have to wait until the next score period. This is not the first time Prometric handle test scores and I am sure they know to submit it before 11:59pm. Unless system failed and went out of power, like unexpected emergencies.

I believe they have 24 hours to send it. I've taken two of my exams on the last day of the testing window and was able to get my results on the day they said, but I took the exam in the morning. Not sure if that made a difference. I've heard of some who took it in the afternoon and didn't get their results and had to wait until the next score release.
