I am trying to schedule an AUD exam (which I have taken before 5/31), but for some reason the location that I normally take it at is showing no open timeslots for May (which is very rare) and is showing a bunch for June, 2016. Considering that June is supposed to be a black out month – I find this very odd. It is show dates as late as the 10th available.

Anyone have an idea why this could be happening?

I just checked my location in Illinois too and I see the same thing! They must have extended the testing window to allow for more test takers this quarter.

I wonder if they are doing this because July is supposed to be the changes and they want to give people a shot to get in an exam before the changes. That would be awesome!

In the CA, the SF Bay Area particularly, April and May have been mostly booked up since last quarter. haven't checked on a June date, but given the amount of testing centers we have here, it is really weird to not have any dates available. Maybe there is something happening internally with the system.

Are the 2017 changes not supposed to take effect until next year?

I'd like to play my NTS to reschedule just for the heck of seeing it. However, my NTS expires on 5/7 so I cannot validate if June has indeed open timeslots.

It is extended during the first 10 days of each blackout month until the changes begin next year. And then the extra 10 day extension period ends once the changes begin.

Off topic of the 10 day extension, but I tried to schedule an exam for July and there's only ONE open day. Is this normal? I've never seen it like this? I don't live in too large of a city, so I wouldn't think it's because everyone is trying to take exams before the changes. Maybe it's just testing centers are more busy during the summer?
