What should we be scoring on practice SIMS?

Is there a good percentage gauge? 70%? 80%? Would this differ from MCQs since it is currently only 40$ of our score for three of the four exams?

I’m trying to see what a good enough percentage score is on these. I know Jeff said 70% is a benchmark for MCQs but what about sims?

Currently just finished 8 sims for AUD and got 69%. How awful is this?

I have never heard a consensus.

I have passed BEC twice (expired on me) and the others once. Some sims I would do really well on, some I would bomb. Besides FAR (which totally kicked my behind) I only had to retake REG once due to a failing grade. I scored in the mid 80's on the practice final exam for REG so I was stunned when I got a 66. so to study for my retake, I reworked all the sims and got a 77.

I think 70% is a good reference number as the study material tends to be a little more difficult than the actual exams. However, the sims is where you apply the facts learned for the MCQ's. Try reworking them and really understanding the process to get the correct answers.

    BEC - 8/8/16
    REG - 66, 77
    AUD - 81
    FAR - 9/8/16

For AUD, I do pretty decent on the sims except the newer version…what are they called again? Document Review Simulation? Oh my gosh. Those are the worst. I think my brain is either tired at this point in the day or I just can't comprehend how to work them, because the exhibits and additional information rarely help. In the 8 sims I just completed (none research), 2 were DRS's. The memos and the additional information to reference looked like they were for two separate sims. In no way did they seem to be related. So I don't know. Guess just try our best!
