WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Here’s my dilemma. I took BEC (1st Exam) back in October and began studying for REG during the ridiculous wait until the score release. Found out I did not pass BEC, but I am already through more than half of the REG study material. Should I stop studying for REG and go back and review BEC or continue to study for REG?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.. Thanks!

I would continue with REG, then go back to BEC. BEC is usually easier for people.

    B | 62, 78
    A | 73, 67, 79
    R | 82
    F | 59, 59, Waiting

I agree with the above, finish out REG and take that in Q1. BEC is short enough that you can probably also squeeze that into Q1 as well, especially since you've seen the material before.

definitely move onto REG. even after you take REG i would move onto FAR then AUD first before going back to BEC. The first time I took BEC was in September and by the time I found out that I failed I had already purchased the NTS for AUD and REG, so I didn't get back to BEC for 5 months and the long wait to get back didn't really impact me that much. BEC has the least amount of material to study for re-take so it definitely pays to pass the other 3 parts first.

@MJ44 Definitely push through with REG, given that you're more than halfway through. Even if you were 25% through REG, I would stay the course. Your mind is in that mode, and it would potentially be detrimental to switch gears at this time.

I remember I was halfway through studying AUD when I got my failing FAR score (73). I stayed the AUD study course, however, and wound up passing it on the first try, then moved back to FAR.

Definitely stay the course, and after REG get back on BEC and blow it out of the water! You can do it! Best of luck to you.

    I hope this was helpful!
