Yaeger continues to be committed to its students in their journey to pass the CPA exams.

I went on the message board today….apparently Sonny is no longer there and they are shipping the remaining materials for those that use your own pace schedule. This would tell me they are done.
Checked Sonny's LinkedIn as there was a post on here yesterday with someone asking the same question regarding Yaeger. Sonny's profile shows a separation date of May 2016 attached to his job at Yaeger. It doesn't say “current” as it would if he were still there. I have to say that I have their latest FAR materials and the editing of the videos was really horrible. At times you could see where they had spliced and diced video and the instructor would all of a sudden be talking about something else or referring to some page in the book but you had no clue what page. I realize they don't want to re-shoot hours and hours of new video anytime a change comes out for a section, but for the money they are paid, you'd think the editing would be a little more professional.
With all that said though, it's sad seeing several review firms closing shop or being bought out. I never used Bisk but it was sad hearing of the passing of Bob Monette and Bisk going away. Phil makes me want to jam pencils in my eardrums but it would still be sad to see Yaeger go away. Kind of like seeing the house your grew up in as a kid be demo'ed – a little sad.
I hope that everything works out for those who have recently purchased materials. It's a huge investment and not many can afford to just toss a couple of thousand out the window.
Hmm…not sure what to think about Gleim's status. š On the one hand, slick move to get customers. š On the other hand, that is actually pretty generous to be offering up to a $1,000 credit for the full purchase price. I can't decide if they're taking advantage of Yaeger's demise or if they're being generous to help out students who may be feeling left in the lurch. š
Seems strange that nothing else really has been formally announced by Yaeger. Is the GleimTweet the only announcement of any sort that's out there regarding Yaeger closing its doors???
I have a suspicion that there has been a deal in the works between Yaeger and Gleim as I called Gleim and they had all of my information and I have never talked with them. At this point I believe I am going to switch as I have to retakeBEC and I cannot stand the Yaeger AUD.
Yeah i just checked that link posted for twitter and it brought me to a blank page, also Yaeger took an mention of this down from their home page. I feel like this is the most CPA drama I get and am curious to know what happens haha I know its sad.
