I’m waiting for my FAR test result that will be released on 5/5/16. I’ve already waited for 10 days, and I still have more than a week. Who else is with me? How did you guys do? What are you doing now to wait for the release?

I did REG on April 2 so I've been waiting since then. I've been studying FAR in the interim, and it's living up to its reputation of “the Beast” so there's that to keep me busy.

I'm close to 100% sure May 5 will bring bad news, so I've also used this time to steel myself for a failing score. I'd wholly welcome a surprise, though.

I took my 4th try at FAR on April 7th, so I kind of have mixed views. On one hand I am super anxious because it has been three weeks, but on the other hand I am not so optimistic. Luckily I take BEC on May 3rd so that is somewhat keeping me busy. either way there will be A LOT of drinking going on during Cinco De Mayo.

I'm glad you guys understand. I often pace at night and keep muttering about how I was so stupid to credit goodwill. My boyfriend goes on auto-response and keeps saying “I'm sure you did fine, of course you did fine” and its like NO NOTHING IS FINE IT WILL NEVER BE FINE GOD YOU KNOW NOTHING!!!! Ugh I need something to drink.

Ahhh it soothes the soul knowing we're all suffering together. Good ol REG kicked my ass on 4/21 and since i pushed my test back a few days, i now have to wait another 3 weeks or so for my score. Thinking about retaking BEC the day before my score comes out just to keep my mind off of REG. Alcohol can only do so much haha

@itsanaccrualworld, I just took FAR few days back and assume its gonna be a retake. May I ask how you got the 75 the second round? I did everything on Becker (twice except SIMS) and still feel as if I wasn't ready on the exam. Im hoping for some positive news though.

What i did was strictly a ton of becker sims, each chapter id do them all twice, and really dive into the explanations and why i got something wrong. I was weaker on the sims and comparable on the MCQ the first time so thats mainly why i pounded out so many sims the second time around. I think i also did some 100Q progress tests but not many. If i had to do a mix, id do becker sims and ninja MCQ.

My dad asked me a few days before the test how everything is going and i told him i did not feel ready whatsoever. Also when i left the test i thought there was a good chance i failed. So all in all I would try and not worry about it, there is hope!

Took AUD yesterday and found the score wouldn't be released until 23rd of next month probably. In my opinion, all questions of AUD are standard multiple choices question. You don't need a human to grade it. You could get an instant, at least unofficial, socre like GMAT. So AICPA, great job. Anyway, I am not that urged to know my score. It will come.

@yy612 In what circumstances you would try to pass the exam while living Japan? Is the credential valid in Japan as well?

I get that questions a lot on this forum. We actually have several schools for USCPA in Japan, and many accounting firms like big 4 in Japan are hiring people who passed the test or licensed. Of course we have Japanese CPA license, but it is way more complex and challenging. I didn't have guts to study for that, and I think with this license I can use my English and have broader experience in my career. And hey Ninja is from Japan, so why not?
