Using Fast Forward Academy for CPA, is it smart to share access?

Thinking of sharing with someone. Access has already been purchased by someone who is now licensed. Good chance to save some money. We’ll both be able to access at the same time.

Is this going to hinder my ability to track performance through, quizzes, sims, etc.? I imagine it would. Should I just buy my own access? There will probably be overlap in terms of what sections we’re studying for at any given time. I’d probably go with the Rogers if I bite the bullet. I’ll be supplementing with NINJA (HIYA!!!) in any scenario.

    What should I do? Thanks!

I’m not sure about Fast Forward’s licensing/copyright policies. All of my comments are simply related to the functionality. I used FFA for all 3 parts of the EA test and passed them all first try. I also used them for all 4 parts of the CPA exam. I passed all of them on the first try except for AUD. I rushed and took AUD with only about a week or two to prepare. I made a 72. I have less exposure and experience in AUD so I decided to purchase Roger on my 2nd time through with AUD. I dedicated sufficient time and made an 80.

As far as sharing FFA, it could be done but it wouldn’t be ideal. Each time you answer a multiple-choice question, you mark it as “I know it,” “I think so,” or “I don’t know.” You essentially express your confidence in your answer. Then it provides a chart showing you the areas where you need the most work. As you get closer to test time, you can select “fast focus” or something like that and it just provides MCQs on the subjects where you need the most work. If someone else is taking these questions and expressing their confidence, these recommendations won’t be of any benefit to you. Additionally, you can just take questions that you’ve missed. If someone else is in there taking questions, this won’t be as effective.

I don’t think you’ll have any issues with the number of logins. I logged in from home, work, laptop, cell phone, iPad, etc. Sometimes I would open 2 different sessions in 2 different browser windows so I could reference certain parts of the digital textbook in one window while taking questions or a practice exam in the other.

Is it smart? That depends on FFA's copyright provisions, etc. Is it possible? Yes, but likely to be slightly less effective.

I wouldn't share access, it is unethical and it goes against Fast Forward Academy's license agreement.
