Hey CPA friends,

I have a query regarding updates which will be applicable from January 2018. Pls, help me out.

I am planning to give my exams in February 2018. There are some updates in the syllabus which wouldn’t be tested until January 2018. e.g. ASU 2014-19 (Revenue from contracts with customers). Now, I am using Becker CPA Review and they are having the old course only. What should I do? Should I learn the old concepts only or should I learn and updates from AICPA website?

I'd say it's pretty safe to use the old course. Yes, maybe a 1-2 items might be different in 2018 but the bulk of the concepts that will be tested most frequently will be the same.
