Anyone ever get two research questions on an exam and pass? My understanding (and this could be completely wrong) was that getting two research questions wasn’t a good thing.

I took AUD on Saturday and got two research questions. I’m pretty nervous about it because this is my last test and if I don’t pass in this window I lose BEC. I’m also a little confused about getting the two research questions assuming it’s a bad thing because I was so confident in the multiple choice sections. I used the Ninja Books and Nina MCQ to study. I’m very comfortable with the AUD material. In the days leading up to the test I took 5 practice exams with scores ranging from 84 to 92.

I’m just not sure what to think of getting two research questions. Any insight?

Why do you think getting 2 research questions is a bad thing? Just curious, I hadn't heard this before

There are many posts about this topic on the forum. “Wasn't a good thing” in what sense? The simulations given to you are independent of how you performed on the MC questions so you do not need to worry. I would be happy to get more than one research question, assuming you were able to locate them, as there has never been confirmation that one of them is the pretest simulation.

Getting two research questions does not mean anything and you should not try to judge how well you did based off of that fact. Your simulations are not given to you based on how well you did on the MCQs, they are predetermined. Normally when you get two research questions it means one of them is pre-test and will not count towards your final score. Therefore, you need to do stronger on the other SIMs as those will all most likely count. Sounds like you prepared yourself well so I would not worry.

Both times I've gotten 2 research quesitons, I passed. Don't look too much into it.

I've never heard this either, but I got 2 research questions on my AUD test in early April and got a 93 so I would say not to worry. From what I have been seeing it is relatively common for 2 research questions on the AUD exam.

I had 2 research questions on my AUD exam last week and I hope they both counted because I was able to find them right away lol. The consensus is that if you get 2, then one of them is most likely pretest, but hopefully that wasn't the case for me.

I had two research questions on my FAR exam, and I passed. Although, i do suspect one of them was a pretest question.

FAR (2/5/'16): 88 (Becker & Ninja MCQs)
AUD (4/18/'16): 93 (Becker + Ninja notes)
REG (06/09/'16): 83 (Becker + Ninja notes)
BEC (07/08/'16): Please let me pass this one.

It's nothing to worry about unless you have done poor on other simulations. Since one of them is pre-test and does not count. It means all other simulations will count. Based on your own assessment you did well. I think you might end up scoring 85+ score.

I also took AUD April 2016 and got 2 research SIMS. I nailed both of them. and did OK on other simulations. I hope to get 75+ score. Fingers crossed.
