    Hi everyone,

    I need your advice!
I scheduled FAR on 9/6, and I don’t think I would pass with one week left; if I can find a spot on 9/10, I may be ok. So I checked promethic and no availability comes up on 9/10. I think i have tomorrow to cancel without paying higher cancel fees. Should I cancel and try it in Oct or should I just go take it and fail?

    Thank all for any advice!

I was the queen of rescheduling exams in my day….

Do you think you can gain that much more information in 4 days? If so, I'd move it to the first week of October, no later than that (otherwise you run the risk of getting complacent in your study habits). If you're honest with yourself and think you might be ready but you're just freaking out over small things (a valid feeling, by the way!!), I'd take the exam and see how it goes. 🙂

    Either way, good luck!!

    Thank you!!
I feel like I start to get into an habit that, the only time I can be very productive is each time after I reschedule..am I trying to buy my productivity? I think I have a very wrong mindset.

I'll keep checking promethic and see if anything comes up (feel like Black Friday deal shopping? :(), if not, yea I'll move it to early Oct.

My experience has always been to never push back past a specific testing window. The fact that you would feel way more confident after only 4 days means you can't be that far off. If you take it, and fail, a retake is easier than the first attempt. A retake could be taken in the first week of Oct. If you fail that, you have to wait until Jan. I, personally, would rather give it two shots instead of 1…

I think taking the test is ALWAYS better for a few reasons.
    1. if you put your best foot forward, you are going to be way more prepared next go around
    2. you never know what will happen. If you are in the 70-78 range, a few lucky guesses/narrowing it down to 2 options could roll your way.
    3. it will only help you in the future in understanding the types of questions you will get and where you need to focus your time.

Money is a different story. It's expensive to take the test, but it is what it is. I've sucked it up and decided not to worry as long as I can afford the NTS, I will take them over and over again…I've saved a lot of money staying in on Friday/Saturday and passing on trips with friends so that's how I justify it.

Tell us your stats if you are using Ninja MCQs. Average and trending scores. That will give you an idea if you are ready or not. If it is your first try, then add 12-14 points to your average score and that is what your actual exam score will be. For repeats….it's more unpredictable.

I would personally take it in September because it's the end of the testing window. If you wait until October and fail, then you have to retry in February. If you take it now and fail, you can retry in October and you'll have the extra experience of taking the exam. Not to mention, you could get lucky and pass too!

    FAR - 86
    AUD - 99
    REG - 88
    BEC - 08/29/2016

    For your health!

I would take the exam and get a experience of it, you do not want to waste a test window especially the new test is coming soon.

    REG-84
    BEC-76 (Thank you God!)
    AUD-71,82
FAR-79 (what a surprise and I am finally done !)

I vote with those that said to take it Sept and try again early/mid Oct in case you don't pass. If you wait until Oct and don't pass you have to wait until next Jan.

Although if you feel comfortable that you will pass with the extra three weeks then take it in Oct.

My Unmodified Opinion is that if you are not ready, an extra 4 days won't make much different, plus you stand to lose not only all the fees paid but the rescheduling fee as well.

Reschedule it to either late October or November to give yourself more time to study and at least a fighting chance to pass. Otherwise, you are just wasting your money and time this testing Window.

Keep your eye on the prometric site as well. You are DEFINITELY not the only one getting nervous as the window is coming to a close. There tends to be a lot of availability popping up. If you have a few locations to pick from, you should be able to find something!

I've walked into each test feeling no doubt I would pass it and still failed REG once (by a point). I think you gotta feel ready to pass.

    BEC: 85
    REG: 74, 78
    AUD: 86
    FAR: October?
