So I just found out I passed BEC and have one more section left. I’ve passed BEC and REG this window and I honestly feel like I am almost studied out. I had originally scheduled FAR for March 10, but I had some events occur that made it hard to study. I am back in focus mode now.

Do you guys think I should attempt to retake FAR on March 10? If I fail, my audit expires early April so I would have another chance. Also, if I take FAR on March 10, should I use study materials for the new exam? It would be pointless to switch materials again if I found out I didn’t pass and had to retake in April. Would it make that much of a difference if I use new materials (Becker specifically) for the old test?

First of all, congrats on passing two section in one window.

How much of the material have you covered? I would honestly suggest that you take it. I think the $200 you pay for a retake is worth the shot.
However, you mentioned you lose a score in early April, so if you were to take the exam in March and fail, would you have enough time to apply and get your NTS for an early April retake? I know in CA it can take weeks to get a new NTS. If you are in a state that takes just as long, I would suggest you wait until April.

Thanks for the reply. I honestly haven't covered as much as I should. I know my weak areas but I definitely have at least 4 chapters I need to cover before I am finished. In my state it takes about 1-2 days to get a NTS, but I am afraid of a shortage of test dates/testing centers that may be available before my test expires.

I would do it. Who knows, you could pass and end up being done without dealing with the new exam.
