How do most of you submit your transcripts to take the test? Do you get your transcripts all sent to you and then send them all together to the state board, have the sent directly to the state board or have them sent digitally? FYI I am in Florida.

When I applied I had all of my transcripts sent to me (or I picked up) so that I could send them with my application. I did not trust that they wouldn't get lost if they were sent straight there from my university (possibly overkill, but I was on a time budget and didn't want to risk it). At the time I applied, my state board (TX) did not accept digital transcripts. I'm not sure about FL specifically, but CPA state boards in general tend to be archaic and want paper copies. Also, not sure how exactly the digital ones you sent work, but if they are not “official”, I can guarantee you that your state board will not accept them.
