failed audit…again. Idk what else to do….ive passed FAR & BEC, but my window for BEC expires in August. i have REG in 3 weeks and i really just want to say forget this whole thing. I work at an accounting firm, the only CPAs n my department are the managers. Everyone else didnt finish school, or isnt eligible to sit for the exam or paraprofessionals. I get the same work and probably pay as them. I just cant believe i failed & my score went down. Its really making me feel like why am i even doing this??!! I have no life bc i study, am broke from the materials/exams, and just emotionally burnt out. ive never given up but this is taking its toll on me. ive tried staying encouraged & even encourage others on this forum but idk if i can take another fail or have to re-take a section if August comes.

I feel your pain, I passed 2 and will lose credit in July for Auditing. I won't give up because I will feel like a failure. If you want to quit that is your choice but just don't regret the decision either way. If you want to move up in your career in public accounting then you have to stick with it. You can get it done by august, I am going to. Re-take does suck but not the end of the world, think about the decision and make the best one for yourself. I believe you can pass!!

    AUD-77
    BEC-70,73,68,74 SH##!!!!!, 80
    REG-73,76
    FAR -74,82

If you're not feeling it you should step back for 6 months, a year, or more. No sense in ruining the life around you for some exam. I'm being 100% serious.

Change your focus….thoughts become things, if you meditate on failing, you will fail, if you see yourself passing, with diligent study, you will pass. Focus on learning what you need to know to pass while you study. Not simply finishing the review materials. Sometimes we are in a hurry to study, hurry to finish the test, hurry to get the actual license, hurry to become a millionaire…..slow down, study, and pass. Quit focusing on the past failures and learn from them. Ask the question, what do I need to do different, and the answers will follow. I don't think quit is anywhere in the solution.
Yes it might take more time than anticipated, but so what. I believe passing the entire exam will bring so much gratitude and excitement towards the future life you and your family can have. So come on, you've passed before, and you can pass again…..pass them all. I really don't know why we have so many parts, but I guess that's a good thing.(for another topic)….You can do it….
P.s. get with the veterans, those that have passed and see what they suggest, sometimes it something really small, like writing notes, or listening to audio before bed….or taking the test in the a.m instead of p.m.( just a few more thoughts)

    It begins with a 75
Been here too long as a cheerleader....ready to pass

I got a 70 on Audit this go round. It sucks! But I think I will restructure my approach for my retake.

My first time I did rogers course and Ninja MCQ. I think this time, I am going to read my book from Cover to Cover. Audit has the least amount of Material out of all these exams. So you truly need to understand all concepts.

    BEC - 77 (5/16)
    AUD - TBD (8/16)
    REG - 80 (1/16)
    FAR - 76 (8/15)
