I am sick and tired of this new forum. Nothing works here any longer. It is almost impossible to read any thread. It can take ages to refresh. Seriously, this new forum is a huge mistake!
The old forum was much better. It was more efficient because it didn't have the avatars, ability to embed videos/graphics and all the other happy horsesh1t that the new forum has. It's an accounting forum for gosh sake, you don't need to be able to give people karma. I want to be able to post questions and get feedback quickly.
I don't fault Jeff for trying to enhance and improve the website but some things – if it ain't broke, it doesn't need fixin'.
Once things settle down (we just moved to another server tonight…this 3 day outage has been a nightmare)…I am going to start “simplifying” the front page…make it more college-ruled instead of wide-ruled as someone put it…get rid of some of the default features that we don't want.
Tonight I'm anxiously awaiting my FARscore. This could be it – Come on 75!! I jumped on this forum excited to read about what's going on with my fellow test takers. I have found a lot of very useful information on all aspects of the entire process as well as encouragement here. It has been invaluable!
I must say I was really bummed to see the very first thread tonight one of negativity. Clearly there are some technical issues being worked through, but unless you have a paid subscription I think you should be able to have some patience, or at a minimum keep your negativity to yourself.
I just felt the need to try and offset the ungrateful rude comment with one showing my appreciation for this wonderful resource and all of the the wonderful contributors!
Dude no need to exaggerate this issue. Jeff said he will fix it. I am not complaining about this forum in general. I have benefited a lot from this forum and really like ninja forum. However, it is a fact that forum has been behaving strange lately.

Ha! That was my comment, but I didn't think there'd actually be a way to change it. Sweet! 🙂
