The more 74's I see….

The more apprehensive and anxious I become. BEC is my first exam and everyday I find myself thinking about rescheduling once again. Each time I get close to the date, I feel like I have so much more to learn. Is this normal?

I'm tired of operating in fear and mediocrity. It's time to try. It's time to do. It's time to go.

I'd like to know too. I just scheduled my first two tests. REG later this month and AUD in June. This last score release has had more negative feedback than the other ones I have paid attention too.

But I have heard that you will never feel prepared going into it, and when you wait until you're 100% prepared, you will never take the exam, and I've heard walking out of the exam, you will have the same feeling of doubt/excitement/whatever for any score in the 65-85 range.

Anyone with experience have any input?

You are never fully prepared, and you should not be (unless you are aiming for that 95.5) with time constraint.

We are accountants. We want to be efficient.

Personally my score reflected how I felt approximately. Especially for FAR/BEC concept/calc, if you know, you will know you answered it correctly.

Just set test day, do not reschedule and stick with it.

Materials: Wiley book + Ninja MCQ

    FAR - 83 (Jan 2016)
    Study time: 6 weeks
    BEC - 87 (April 2016)
    Study time: 2 weeks
    AUD - 92 (July 2016), (74 Feb 2016), (72 May 2016)
    Study time: 4 (Feb) + 2 (May) + 3 (July) = 9 weeks total
    REG - (70 April 2016)
    Study time: 3 weeks

Failing a test is rough. You then have to get up and do it again. The only thing that matters is nailing 4 in18 months.

K I don't think what you think should be your yardstick. Meaning that's what the test bank software is there for. For $47 bucks you get an excellent assessment tool from ninja MCQ. Check out the threads on trending versus actual score for some specifics.

I agree with mhei8116. Pick a test date and stick to it. You only hurt yourself by pushing the date out unless you're in the hospital or jail or legitimately can't physically be there for some other reason.
