My REG score (3rd attempt) came through at about 12:07 am. It was a 79. Champagne in hand, I toasted a sweet goodbye to 14 months of consistent studying and 4 years with this credential weighing on my mind. I am a re-examination candidate, a full-time employee and a mother of two children, aged 3 and 2. The previous 14 months have been a blur of late nights, early mornings, cram sessions, lunch sessions…you name it. I never thought this day would come. If it weren’t for this forum I know it would have been more of a struggle. I found so many on here going through the same thing and was motivated by their words of encouragement, so I will try to do the same.
Keep chipping away at this and one day it will be done.
Focus on the present.
Daydream about the future with CPA behind your name.
Remind yourself why you are doing this – whatever the reason may be.
Live your life. Find the balance.
Be confident.
Cheering all of you on.
