Hello Everyone,

In honor of another71, I am challenging all of the future CPA’s on this board to a 710 daily MCQ battle. I will be starting tomorrow, pause and feast on Thursday, and restart on Friday and continue thru the weekend.

My goal is 710 MCQs on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a total of 2,840 MCQs.

I will be using Wiley and CPA Mastery for MCQs and it will be for the BEC section.

I will be providing status updates with my MCQ count throughout the days.

I like it, but there's no way I can do that many in a day I struggle to hit 100+ but I'm also studying Bec and will be in final review mode starting Thursday. Finishing the cost accounting section tomorrow. My plan is to watch the video lectures and do the book questions. Over the long weekend. I will have done all 1400 MCQs my test back offered by tomorrow. Then go back to my software Monday and do a bunch of Sims, and about 30-60 MCQs per day.

710? Do you learn a single thing from them? I feel like I wouldn't have time to read through them at all!

I'm setting a goal for the weekend (starting tomorrow) of 700 MCQs for the ENTIRE weekend.

Curious if this was your strategy for FAR? Which exam are you currently working on now?

Yeah I am working on FAR and the questions in Becker chapters 1-7 take much longer than AUD and REG (in my opinion). I am shooting for somewhere in the realm of 150-200 per day!

While the more MCQ the better, make sure you're actually doing something about what you're getting wrong and not just trying to hit your target number. I did max 150/day but always reread the sections of questions I got wrong to make sure I don't get them wrong again.

I am retaking FAR on 12/10 and I am trying to get through 450 of “problem” questions this 4 day weekend, my goal is to understand why they are problem questions because I want to be done this quarter!

710 MCQs a day and that too for BEC? You do realize that most finance and cost accounting questions take 2-3 mins each, right? Anyway, good luck with that! If you can even make it to 400 MCQs a day give yourself a pat on the back, because that would be an achievement.

If you studied for 12 hours straight, no breaks, no bathroom – you'd have to average 1 minute & 1 second per question – assuming a seamless transition between tests and no review.

Bro, good intention but lemme say this I studied 5 hour yesterday and was only able to hit 200 MCQ. 710 would be a bit of a stretch LOL. But its good that you made this post! Good luck. AUD may be possible but no way in hell would FAR be.

I didn't want to be the first one to point out the logistics on the math of this challenge.
~12 hours of MCQ's, that's roughly 3-4 8balls a day?

Lol. This must be a joke. I hope you have some adderal or cocaine to do that many MCQ’s! I don’t recommend either of them btw!!

You guys are funny! Attempting to go thru 710 questions in one day is tough! That's why it's a challenge! A challenge that I failed on my first go around! LOL.

I was able to go thru 395 questions. Here are my stats:

Corporate Governance = 83 MCQs = 84%
Economics = 85 MCQs = 75%
Financial MGMT = 127 MCQs = 56%
IT = 100 MCQs = 48%

In that order! So, I suffered from diminishing returns!! That's an average of 64%, so I have a ways to go.

My first go around of all of the MCQs is more for exposure. Once I go thru all of them, I will then work on my trouble questions and take my time.

CPA Mastery is a fine app! The questions seem legit, and are tough. I also like how you can sort them out by the ones you know and don't know.
