HI everyone! I sit for my FAR retest tomorrow and am looking for guidance. Even in advanced acct courses I scored A’s and B’s on assignments but nothing higher that a C on tests….which my reading comprehension has a lot to do with it. I’m reviewing last year’s FAR test and the questions seem foreign to me because of how they’re worded. Yet, when I review the answer and explanation, I feel the urge to face palm myself because it seems so simple. Anyone overcome reading comprehension or have tips to make the questions easier to understand? This is why I’m more of a numbers person than words lol. BTW, I have utilized Roger’s suggestion of reading the question first, then the scenario, when the MCQ answers are numbers. That helps tremendously but not when the scenario is long and drawn out or there are no numbers involved.
