So, after losing my passed sections I dropped the whole process and walked away. Some major life changes and relaxation later I’m back in full force ready to pass again.

I get my NTS today, run to schedule REG for the first weekend of June and my absolute favorite test center where I’ve had my only 3 victories is BOOKED SOLID FOR 3 MONTHS! AHHHHH!!!!

I wouldn’t say that I’m usually a superstitious person but the CPA is something that I’d focus on everything I did right to accomplish and repeat all those behaviors for -every- section.

I’m going to hold out a day for possible cancellations but this made me curious if anyone else has anything they do special for test day?

My best friend wore the same Dr. Who shirt for every exam and passed the 1st go so maybe I should try that too….

I wore the same hoodie and pants to all 4 exams.
Best advice is to be comfortable.

I did all 3 EA exams in the morning. Did my first CPA exam in the morning and got very little sleep.
The other 3 I changed to afternoon.
I would always show up very early, and was always able to breeze right through check in /security and tested about an hour before my scheduled start time.
Nothing worse than showing up the same time as everyone else and having to wait/watch everyone go through ID and security procedures.

Used the same small Prometric facility for all 7 exams. I think they only have 8 computers.

I wear the same hoodie and shoes. Jam to the same pump up song before the exam and listen to it after.

haha not so much what I wear but where I test. One test center always produces passing scores for me and one that doesn't. Thankfully the one closer to home is the one that's lucky for me.

Allsheneededwassome if it helps I refreshed my life away and my lucky test center popped a date open. Not just any date, a Monday which is my absolute perfect day to test and not just any time but 8am which is my PRIME sitting hour.

So by posting in this thread you've now been infused with luck. Go forth and pass!

Recked – that center sounds crazy small but less chance of the habitual cough person being there, which I tend to get in a 40 person room.

MIsconnie – I also jam to the same music, nothing like some good electronic music to get those synapses firing. I also eat a 4 piece chicken nugget right after. It's weird, but effective.
